Cristal Roederer is an emblematic and mythical cuvee from Maison Roederer. It was
created in 1876 to mark the coronation of Tsar Alexander II, and was conceived as
the most perfect expression of the House's savoir-faire.
Louis Roederer Cristal 2014 has an intense, brilliant gold color, resplendent with light
and endowed with a fine effervescence.
The aromatic bouquet is characterized by its intense perfume and great purity. Citrus
fruits mingle delicately with hints of roasted almonds, giving a sensation of generosity
and ripeness of fruit. Fresh, tangy notes add energy and finesse.
Louis Roederer Cristal 2014 embodies pure, intense champage. Fruity aromas
mingle with a silky texture and soft effervescence. The perfect expression of ripe
yellow fruit combines elegance with saline freshness. The seductive, spicy structure
continues into a long, refined, saline finish.

Still young, with toast aromas and shining white-fruit flavors, the latest release of Cristal is just setting out. A dry, tight core of intense flavors are shot through with minerality from the pure chalk soil of the 45 individual parcels in the blend. Drink this wine from 2025. Organic. Roger Voss

About Winery
Louis Roederer
Champagne, France
Founded in 1776 in Reims, the Louis Roederer Champagne House has remained family-owned and independent. After more than 200 years of existence, Maison Louis Roederer is still in the hands of the same family. Today, headed by Frédéric Rouzaud, the seventh
generation of the family, Maison Louis Roederer embodies the excellence of Champagne wines around the world, with cuvées crafted like works of art.
With nearly 241 hectares of vines, Maison Louis Roederer draws its strength from its
extraordinary vineyard, made up entirely of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus in the Marne Valley, Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs. A veritable mosaic of terroirs, the Maison Louis Roederer vineyard is divided into 410 parcels, reflecting the full diversity of Champagne soils.
