We present the Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru 2017, an exceptional wine from the renowned Domaine Chandon de Briailles, diligently cultivated in the "Bressandes" vineyard in Corton, in the Burgundy region.
Tasting Notes:
The Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru 2017 is a masterpiece that captures the essence of Pinot Noir in Burgundy. When you bring the glass closer to your nose, you will be greeted by aromas of ripe red fruits, such as strawberries and raspberries, intertwined with subtle floral notes and spices, particularly cinnamon.
On the palate, you will confirm the presence of red fruits, with raspberries standing out. The soft tannins are complemented by a pronounced acidity that provides freshness, and to make this experience unique, you will perceive a mineral character that adds complexity to the wine.
This wine is a sublime choice for those who wish to explore the authentic expression of Pinot Noir in Burgundy, a true celebration of Domaine Chandon de Briailles' organic and biodynamic viticulture.

About Winery
Chandon de Briailles
Bourgogne, France
For over a century, Domaine Chandon de Briailles has been the guardian of a family winemaking tradition that spans generations. Today, this estate is owned by Count and Countess Aymard-Claude de Nicolay and their children, who keep alive the fascinating history of this vineyard.
The history of the Domaine is intertwined with Countess Chandon de Briailles, whose family has connections with the renowned champagne house Moët et Chandon. This family heritage has persisted over the years, transforming the Domaine into a true jewel in the heart of the Burgundy vineyards, located four kilometers north of Beaune in the heart of the Burgundy vineyards.
Domaine Chandon de Briailles majestically spans 13.7 hectares in the renowned wine region of Côte de Beaune in Burgundy. Its vineyards encompass the villages of Savigny-lès-Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses, and Aloxe-Corton, offering unique and exceptional terroirs.
The manajewelent of Domaine Chandon de Briailles has been passed down from generation to generation, and in 1982, Nadine de Nicolay took on the responsibility of reviving the grandeur of the estate's wines. With tireless dedication, she restored the nobility of the wines, earning unanimous recognition.
Today, her sons, Claude and François de Nicolay, work together to continue the family's legacy. All decisions, including winemaking, are made collaboratively, with Claude overseeing winemaking and François managing the vineyards and part of the marketing. This complementary collaboration is a strength of the Domaine.
