In the heart of Burgundy lies Maison Charlopin-Tissier. Founded in 2013 by Yann Charlopin and Justine Tissier, this young winery has already earned a prominent place in the world of wine. With over 4 hectares of strategically selected vineyards in privileged locations throughout Burgundy, including Côte de Nuits-Villages, Marsannay, Gevrey Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Vosne Romanée, and Pernand-Vergelesses, Maison Charlopin-Tissier offers a unique wine experience, celebrating the production of high-quality and authentic wines. The history of Maison Charlopin-Tissier is an exciting blend of tradition and vision. After studying winemaking in Beaune and working as a winemaker in Tasmania, Sancerre, and Chablis, Yann Charlopin decided to join forces with Justine Tissier. Under the guidance of mentor Jean-Marie Fourrier, Yann embarked on an exciting winemaking journey, acquiring additional vineyards in Morey-Saint-Denis, including the former Domaine David Clarke. The philosophy of Maison Charlopin-Tissier is deeply rooted in respect for the land and the environment. The vineyards are cultivated using organic practices, emphasizing careful and sustainable manual labor. The winemaking process includes cold maceration and fermentation with natural yeast. This meticulous craftsmanship ensures that each wine is a genuine expression of Burgundian terroir, capturing the essence of the place where the grapes are grown. Limited production and growing demand for their wines make each bottle from Maison Charlopin-Tissier a true treasure. It is an unmissable opportunity for wine lovers seeking authentic and exceptional experiences.
