Situated in the esteemed St. Emilion appellation beside the Dordogne River in Bordeaux, Château Canon is a celebrated wine producer, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its vineyards thrive on a southwestern limestone terrace, benefiting from a unique microclimate and limestone-clay soils. Established in the early 18th century around the St. Martin church, it was named after Jacques Canon in 1760. After changing hands through the centuries, including a long tenure by the Fournier family, Château Canon was acquired by the Chanel fashion group in 1996, continuing its legacy in fine winemaking.
