Where the 2023 is crystalline and taut, the 2022 is more generous, more openly expressive: a creamy, juicy fruit presence of vineyard peach and passion fruit showing delicate sweetness, balanced immediately by the lively acidity that is the Scharzhofberg's non-negotiable signature. The nose presents ripe greengage with brightness and edge, with whispers of chervil and jasmine alongside briny, mineral elements.
