Dark ruby garnet, purple reflections, deep core, delicate rim brightening. Delicate herbal savouriness, a bit of tobacco, ripe plums, some blackberry and liquorice in the background, mineral touch. Complex, juicy, black wild berries, fine tannins that carry well, mineral and clinging, fine acidic arc, a touch of sweetness on the finish, good length, certain ageing potential.

Carruades de Lafite
Bordeaux, France
Château Lafite Rothschild is a true gem of Bordeaux, known for producing wines that many consider the best in the region. Its history began over a century ago, but it was around 1680 that the vines that would bring prestige to Château Lafite Rothschild started to be planted.
However, it was in 1868 that Baron James de Rothschild acquired the Château, marking the beginning of a remarkable era under the Rothschild family's management.
The vineyard of Château Lafite Rothschild extends over 112 hectares planted with classic Bordeaux varieties: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot.
In addition to its exceptional quality, the wines of Château Lafite Rothschild also exude an aura of exclusivity, being recognized as some of the most expensive and desired in the world.
