This wine represents the full maturity of what was, at its release, a wine of power and concentration unusual for this appellation. Pousse d'Or's meticulous, increasingly biodynamic approach to this ancient clos has always emphasized purity and terroir expression, and the 2005 now shows what that philosophy achieves with time.
