Description

The 2007 vintage at Haut-Brion produced a wine of sweet, plummy generosity that has always invited earlier drinking than the great structured years. The nose offers ripe, almost minty black fruit with a lovely juiciness and a mineral underpinning that speaks of the Graves terroir at its most expressive. The palate is rich and svelte, the tannins well-resolved, the finish warmly sustained. Those who have had the patience to cellar it have been rewarded with a wine of considerable complexity and pleasure. An engaging, approachable expression of one of the world's great châteaux.
